Moon Phase

Moon Pahse

A moon phase refers to the appearance of the illuminated portion of the Moon as seen from Earth, which changes over a 29.5-day cycle called the lunar month. The Moon reflects sunlight, and as it orbits Earth, the angle between the Sun, Earth, and Moon changes, causing different portions to be visible. The main phases include the New Moon (when the side facing Earth is dark), First Quarter, Full Moon, and Last Quarter. Between these phases, there are waxing and waning phases, such as waxing crescent and waning gibbous, representing gradual changes in visibility.
