Twilight

Twilight

Twilight is the time period between daylight and darkness, occurring just before sunrise and just after sunset, when the Sun is below the horizon but still illuminates the sky. Twilight is divided into three phases: civil twilight (Sun less than 6 degrees below the horizon), nautical twilight (6 to 12 degrees below), and astronomical twilight (12 to 18 degrees below). These phases are important for outdoor activities, navigation, and astronomy, as they indicate different levels of natural light and visibility of celestial objects.
